Where we're going ...

Release 7 of the Accordant range marks the start of a significant new chapter for CADM. The interoperability between the Specificer and the Locator provides a single, consistent platform which can scale through the life of an office building.

The drawing management components of the system already provide ISO strength revision control suited to multi-disciplinary teamworking at the design and build stage (there are currently over 2500 completed/live projects). Catalogue Management and specification tools provide a straightforward way to add in furniture and a variety of other component-based systems, exactly to manufacturer’s specifications and with latest pricing information.

An information model created in this manner can then be directly manipulated by the Accordant Locator to manage the premises on an ongoing basis reporting space usage, providing asset tracking and linking to Specifier components to provide accurate job costing.

Add to this the use of secure online channels to provide inter-business communication and ease of integration with other management systems and CADM becomes the heart of a new generation of visual information systems.
